Content Marketing Strategist

We are seeking an experienced Content Marketing Strategist to join us at our Williamsburg, Brooklyn office. In this new role, the Content Marketing Strategist will work with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to define, produce and manage high-quality, engaging and relevant content to power Experiture’s outreach in the marketplace.

Responsibilities:

  • Content Strategy – Develop content marketing strategies, road-maps and editorial calendars that support overall business
  • The majority of your work will include writing compelling short and long form content such as landing pages, emails, social media messages, press releases, blog posts, website content, PowerPoint presentations, comprehensive guides, and ads
  • Content Development
    • Support lead-gen campaigns by developing key pieces of content, including lead magnets, webinar presentations & research articles
    • Identify customer buyer journey and create content to help move prospects along
    • Manage and execute against a self-generated editorial calendar for blog with the goal of a) improving search engine ranking among keywords deemed relevant and b) helping build and nurture our email list
    • Conduct competitor and keyword analysis to identify gaps in our content coverage
    • Create educational content for our current clients with the goal of helping them get the most out of our services
  • Content Measurement
    • Analyze content performance, promote high-performing content and create content for A/B testing
    • Evaluate competitive content

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and/or Marketing
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in B2B marketing Passion for writing and storytelling (writing samples a must)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to strike a balance between showing initiative and seeking appropriate guidance and input from others
  • Strong grasp of best practices when it comes to creating content for websites, landing pages, emails, SEO and paid search/social
  • Knowledge of marketing automation tools
  • Demonstrated experience using web analytics to inform content decisions
  • Understand how to cater content to different personas and align it to the stages of the buying cycle
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment
  • Experience with content management workflow tools
  • Solid SEO knowledge and experience developing content so that it ranks in the top 10 for a given keyword
